Relaxation

Hot Tub Guide

Follow these steps for the best hot tub experience.

1

Shower First

Rinse off sunscreen, lotions, and oils before entering. This keeps the water clean for everyone.

2

Remove the Cover

Lift and fold the cover in half, then slide it off. Use the cover lift if available.

3

Control the Jets

Press the "Jets" button on the control panel. Most tubs have 2-3 speed settings.

4

Stay Hydrated

Bring water! The altitude + hot water = faster dehydration. Limit sessions to 15-20 min.

5

No Glass Allowed

Only plastic cups or cans near the hot tub. Broken glass is impossible to clean!

6

Replace the Cover

Always replace and secure the cover when done. This keeps heat in and debris out.

⚠️ Important: Never adjust the temperature setting (leave it at 102-104°F). Don't use the hot tub if you've been drinking heavily.

Questions?

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to common questions during your stay.

Try these steps:

  1. Check the network name matches the card in the property
  2. Make sure password is typed correctly (case-sensitive)
  3. Restart the router (unplug for 30 seconds, plug back in)
  4. Router is usually near the TV or in a closet

Still not working? Text us at (847) 830-3487.

Most properties have a Nest or Honeywell thermostat:

  • Nest: Turn the dial to adjust temp. Tap to switch between heat/cool.
  • Honeywell: Use up/down arrows. Set mode to "Heat" in winter.

Please keep it between 65-72Β°F to avoid frozen pipes in winter.

Most TVs have a Roku or Fire Stick pre-installed:

  1. Turn on the TV with the main remote
  2. Select the streaming device input (HDMI 1 or 2)
  3. Use the streaming remote to navigate apps
  4. You can log into your own Netflix/Hulu (please log out when done!)

The bear-proof dumpster location varies by propertyβ€”check your check-in instructions for the specific location. It's usually in the parking area.

⚠️ Important: Never leave trash outside or on the deck. Bears are active in Summit County and will find it!

Maybe! It depends on the cleaning schedule:

  • Early check-in: Contact us the day before to check availability
  • Late checkout: Message us by 8 AM on checkout day

There may be an additional fee depending on the request and timing.

Please don't adjust the temperature setting. It's maintained at 102-104Β°F for optimal performance and to meet health codes.

If the water seems too hot or cold, contact us and we'll have it checked. Adjusting the settings can damage the system and result in charges.
